Coffee prices have slowly been on the rise since COVID caused worldwide production, exporting, and importing issues. A combination of climate change and increased global demand in both current and emerging markets have been driving the price of coffee up little by little. While we have been able to absorb the majority of these incrimital price increases, the actions of the current administration have caused a steep and sudden spike in the market. Threats of tariffs on Columbia and Mexico in January immediately caused a nearly 30% increase on almost ALL coffee varieties. There is no sign that coffee prices are coming back down in any meaningful way for the foreseeable future and in fact, are expected to continue rising. As a result we have no choice but to raise our prices on our coffee products.
